5. Data gathering for entry onto Rdsap software.
6. How to complete the portfolio, to required standard.
7. What to do once you have qualified.
8. The requirements for lodgments of EPC’s.
9. A Domestic Energy Assessor’s legal requirements, and responsibilities.
The course is delivered in a practical understandable manner; the course content can be altered depending on candidate experience and capability, the course will also cover steps after qualification
This Qualification is a Level 3 diploma (Equal to an A Level Std.) Taken through
Pearson’s EDI (Qualification Number 6361-
The qualification also evaluates and covers aspects of business management (Health & Safety, Data potection, time and procedure management)
Once you have qualified, the qualification will allow you produce Energy Performance Certificate (EPC’s), which is used in the Housing sale & rental market, which are required by law, It also unlocks the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), the installation of energy saving measures (with funding). An EPC is also used as the first step to qualification for funding under The Green Deal.
To qualify as a Domestic Energy Assessor, you must complete a portfolio-
*Each EPC will contain 19 Documents, most of which are based on templates
You will guided through your portfolio build, throughout your learning, by both tutor and Assessor
